Your Pupillary Distance (P.D.)
Your P.D. measurement is required so your lenses can be correctly positioned within your chosen frame.
Have a friend measure the distance from the centre of the pupil in one eye to the centre of the pupil in the other eye. Its like measuring a line connecting two black dots.
How to measure your PD:
Place a millimetre ruler on the bridge of your nose. Have your friend face you at about arm's length. Then your friend measures the distance between the centre of your two pupils (the black dots in the middle of your eyes). As a guideline: Most adult's PD's are between 60-65. If no pd is supplied I will pre set it to the average PD of 63mm for distance lenses and 60mm for reading
