Requirements
In order for us to create your lenses, we require:
- a copy of your prescription, will be returned with your glazed spectacles
- your Pupillary Distance, or PD, which can be supplied by your optician or measured by a friend per instructions below
- your selection of the type of lenses required
Measuring Pupillary Distance
Place a millimetre ruler on the bridge of your nose. Have your friend face you at about arm's length. Then your friend measures the distance between the centre of your two pupils (the black dots in the middle of your eyes). As a guideline: The PD of most adults is between 60-65. If no PD is supplied I will pre set it to the average PD of 63mm for distance lenses and 60mm for reading.
